There are 13 of these bikes, all embellished with logo, “THSG” (The House of Gold), made with 600 black diamonds and 500 golden sapphires. The bike is equipped with a gold overlaid bottle encases in chocolate brown stingray. Its seat is customized with fine chocolate alligator and the bike is further engraved with the artist signature and the bike number between 1 and 13.

Trek Butterfly Madone was ridden by Lance Armstrong in 2009 during Tour De France. If this is not enough to make the bike unique, then here’s more. The designer of the bike, Damien Hirst, used real butterfly wings on the bike’s rims and frames and this was enough to make the bike worth half a million dollars. Thou PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) highly condemned the design of this bike, the bike’s auction money was used for Lance Armstrong ‘s cancer research  and awareness.
